Hernan Lopez is the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Danvas, a new VC-backed startup that will bring NFTs and digital art into the real world through a specialized, luxury LED display and solutions designed to empower artists to grow their practice and collectors to acquire more NFT art.
Hernan is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Hernan Lopez Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping increase diversity in leadership.
Prior to Danvas, Hernan was the Founder and CEO of Wondery, one of the largest podcast publishers, which was acquired by Amazon in 2021. Launched in 2016, Wondery became best known for its immersive storytelling podcasts including Dr Death, Dirty John, WeCrashed, Business Wars, The Shrink Next Door, and Joe Exotic. 31 of Wondery’s shows have reached #1 on Apple Podcasts and the company was behind 10 of Podtrac’s Top 20 New Shows Of 2020. 19 of Wondery’s podcasts are being developed for TV adaptations.

Previously, Hernan was President and CEO of Fox International Channels. During his 18-year tenure, his division grew to $3 billion in revenue, launching hundreds of channels in the entertainment, factual, and sports verticals outside of the US, both premium and basic, as well as production and digital extensions. He also served as CEO and a board member of National Geographic Channels International.
Hernan has been a featured speaker at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity, SXSW, Promax, Natpe, CES, the Festival Of Media, WSJ Tech Live, the INMA World Congress, and numerous investor conferences worldwide. His articles about advertising and media have been published by Ad Age and Fast Company. He is also a founding member and Governor of The Podcast Academy. A native of Argentina, Hernan moved to Miami in 1997, where he obtained an MBA from the University Of Miami. Today he lives in Los Angeles with his family.
